Thinking about selling online but not sure where to start? Join the Utah Microloan Fund and USU Extension’s E-Commerce Accelerator for an introduction to e-commerce for rural small businesses. We’ll talk about the different ways businesses can sell online, how to decide if e-commerce makes sense for your goals, and what you should have figured out before investing in a website. We’ll also cover what makes online sales work, from having a clear offer to fulfilling orders and building trust with customers.
You’ll also learn about USU Extension’s six-week E-Commerce Accelerator, which helps eligible rural and agricultural Utah businesses start, improve, or grow their online sales.

About the program:
USU Extension’s E-Commerce Accelerator (ECA) is a six-week technical assistance and business mentoring program that helps rural and agricultural Utah businesses build, improve, or expand their online sales presence. Business owners work directly with consultants on website strategy, e-commerce tools, online marketing, SEO, and performance monitoring while actively making decisions and applying what they learn. The service is provided at no cost to selected businesses, although normal e-commerce operating expenses still apply. Learn more about the ECA.

About the Instructor:
StacyAnn Maxwell is a digital strategist, business consultant, and web designer with USU Extension’s E-Commerce Accelerator. Part strategist, part designer, and part translator of tech-speak, she brings creative thinking and practical problem-solving to complex website, marketing, and business challenges. StacyAnn is also a community advocate for women and a lifelong learner who enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring Utah with her family.
