Your Business's Lifecycle: Tax Milestones

Taxes! A topic business owners typically avoid and rarely understand. In this workshop, led by Sarah Barlow and Rebecca Taylor of Yefira Tax Law, we will explore the lifecycle of a business to walk through and point out different waypoints where you will need to take tax into consideration, think through different opportunities and challenges, and ways to plan for the future of your business, answering questions along the way.
Through thinking about your own business lifecycle and walking through the lifecycles of hypothetical businesses, you’ll come away with a map outlining milestones that trigger critical tax events and how to use tax planning to approach them. By the end of the workshop, you’ll (hopefully) be less afraid of taxes and understand how and when to seek help for different tax issues as well as tools to help you think through different scenarios in your business. The session is interactive and collaborative and will equip you with information to help you feel confident in moving forward in your business.
