Human Resources 101: Strategy & Compliance through the Employee LifecycleSuccessful businesses align human resources strategy with business strategy, and they develop legally compliant processes for the entirety of the employee lifecycle. This training provides an overview of federal employment laws, including the Fair Labor Standards Act and Civil Rights Act, and provides examples of how they impact developing compliant people management strategies throughout the employee lifecycle.
About the presenter: Jonica Eveland is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of experience, including years working with small to mid-sized businesses on all aspects of their people management. She holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and the Senior in Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification. Jonica is passionate about teaching leaders how to align people and business strategies to create legally compliant programs, policies, and processes that attract and retain optimal talent and maximize business performance and profitability.
